PUPPY PLAYTIME

During the first 6 months of a pup’s life, it’s important to expose them to as many new things as possible. This includes socializing them in a safe environment where they can learn proper play manners, develop confidence and become more comfortable in new environments and situations.

Our Puppy Playtime has been designed to allow puppies between the ages of 10 and 24 weeks to attend a safe enriching environment in which their play is fully monitored by a trainer. Our trainer will facilitate the puppy play and teach owners proper play habits and restrictions. Owners must remain present through the entire duration of the puppy's visit.

There is no need to sign up ahead of time, this class is drop-in style ($25.00 / visit).

**New dogs must be in your home a minimum of 30 days to attend this class.
**Must have received a minimum of 2 rounds of puppy vaccinations.

PUPPY CLASS

Calling all new fur-parents! We know raising a puppy can be overwhelming in the beginning as you are learning all the things about your pup.

Let us ease some of your stress by helping you train your pup basic obedience commands and day-to-day activities such as; sit, down, stay, focus, leash training and kennel training.

Our puppy class will help you and your pup gain the confidence needed to communicate with each other and build a strong bond.

** This class is for puppies a minimum of 12 weeks of age and up to 6 months. All puppies must have their two sets of shots to attend. New dogs must be in your home for a minimum of 30 days to attend.

 

 

 

PRESCHOOL

So, you’ve aced our Puppy Class and you’re ready for the next step, Preschool. This class is designed for pups 6 months and older who are looking to refine their basic obedience commands. The two main goals of this class are to provide socialization and build a strong bond between you and your pup. These classes provide a safe and fun environment for dogs to socialize in; learn how to respond appropriately to their surroundings; and develop polite manners. Our main focus is positive reinforcement while luring, capturing or shaping a behaviour. Our methods are kind, humane, and fun for both you and your pup!

**New pups must be in your home for a minimum of 30 days to attend this class.
**Current Vaccination records must also be up-to-date. 

 

 

GRADE 1

Now that you and your pup have basic obedience under your belts (or should we say collars?), it’s time to kick things up a notch. The main goal of this class is to add Duration, Distraction and Distance to the commands you and your pup already know (Release, Focus, Sit, Come, Down, Stand, Let’s Go, and Leave-It). These classes will provide a safe and fun environment for your pup to socialize in, learn how to respond appropriately to their surroundings, and develop polite manners. Our methods are kind, humane, and fun for both you and your pup!

**Prerequisite - Puppy Class or Preschool graduates (or the equivalent).
**Must be able to perform basic commands.
**New pups must be in your home a minimum of 30 days to attend this class.
**Current vaccination records must also be up-to-date.

 

 

GRADE 2

You and your pup have Grade 1 under your belts, and it’s time to kick things up another notch. The main goal of this class is to build on more difficult commands such as Go-to-Place, Commands from a distance, Send out/Send away, Down on Recall, Sit in Motion and more! These classes provide a safe and fun environment for dogs to socialize in; learn how to respond appropriately to their surroundings; and develop polite manners. Our methods are kind, humane, and fun for both you and your dog!

**Prerequisite - Grade 1 (or the equivalent).
**New pups must be in your home a minimum of 30 days to attend this class.
**Current vaccination records must also be up-to-date.

 

 

TRICKS FOR TREATS

So, your pup has officially aced Duration, Distraction and Distance and now you’re looking for the next level. Our Tricks for Treats class is a FUN class where the aim is to get our furry friends to do tricks, well… for treats. These classes provide a safe and fun environment for pups to use their mental and physical abilities in unison. We will cover novice, intermediate and advanced tricks in this class.

**Prerequisite - Grade 1 graduate (or the equivalent).
**Must know basic commands.
**New pups must be in your home a minimum of 30 days to attend this class.
**Current vaccination records must also be up-to-date.

 

 

PACK WALK

Join us on an outdoor pack walk with other pups and their (paw)rents! Led by a certified trainer, this event offers a unique opportunity to explore new surroundings, build on confidence, and receive training tips regarding leash manners and impulse control. Although our Pack Walk is a social activity, there won't be any one-on-one pup interactions or greetings. The focus is aimed towards getting your pup to a place of neutrality when around other pups in public settings. To keep our pack walks challenging and exciting, each one will be hosted at a different location.

The fee for this event is $20/session.

**Dogs in attendance need to have some form of basic obedience under their belts and be comfortable in a group atmosphere.
**One dog per handler. Handlers must be 18 years or older.
**No retractable leashes - maximum length 6-foot leash only.
**Bring along water for you and your dog, waste bags, proper fitting walking gear for you and your dog and high-value treats.
**All vaccinations should be up to date and payment is required upon booking their spot for the walk.
**Dogs do not need to be current Fella & Fetch clients, but they must have an active account with waivers signed. Create one here.

 

 

PUP SOCIAL

In a canine reunion like no other, attend one of our Pup Socials where we bring our pack members together for an adorable play date. This off-leash social event held at our facility is a great way for (paw)rents and their pups to socialize and meet other Fella & Fetch clients. A certified trainer will be in attendance to facilitate play and offer any necessary training tips.

The fee for this event is $25/session.

**Dogs in attendance must be current Fella & Fetch daycare dogs and in regular attendance.

PRICING

All of our classes are $150.00 for the six weeks of lessons OR $100.00 for the 4 weeks of lessons.

 *PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL TRAINING CLASSES ARE NON REFUNDABLE & NON TRANSFERABLE DUE TO THE LIMITED AMOUNT OF SPACES. ALL CLASSES MUST BE PAID FOR UPON REGISTRATION FOR THE COURSE.
