At Fella & Fetch we use training methods applicable for all temperaments and learning styles. 

These classes are a wonderful way to get the entire family involved in the training process. If you have a young family, with supervision, your children will be able to train your family companion the same way you do.

All of our classes are $135.00 for the six weeks of lessons.

All training classes are non refundable & non transferable. 

 

PUPPY PLAYTIME

Fella & Fetch is excited to announce the start of a new training program! 

Puppy Playtime has been designed to allow puppies between the ages of 10 and 24 weeks to have the opportunity to socialize in a safe environment. This is extremely important for the puppy's development to teach them proper play manners, develop confidence and become more comfortable in new environments and situations. 

Owners can have the confidence to bring their pup into a safe enriching environment in which their play is fully monitored by a trainer. Our trainer will facilitate the puppy play and teach owners proper play habits & restrictions.

Owners must remain present through the entire duration of the puppy's visit.

** Prerequisite - New dogs must be in your home a minimum of 30 days to attend this class.

-Must have received a minimum of 2 rounds of puppy vaccinations.

PUPPY CLASS

Calling all new fur-parents! We know raising a puppy can be overwhelming in the beginning as you are learning all the things about your pup.

Let us ease some of your stress by helping you train your pup basic obedience commands and day-to-day activities such as; sit, down, stay, focus, leash training and kennel training.

Our puppy class will help you and your pup gain the confidence needed to communicate with each other and build a strong bond.

** This class is for puppies a minimum of 12 weeks of age and up to 6 months. All puppies must have their two sets of shots to attend. New dogs must be in your home for a minimum of 30 days to attend.

 

PRESCHOOL

So, you’ve aced the puppy class and you’re ready for the next step, Preschool. This class is designed for dogs 6 months and older who are looking to refine their basic obedience commands.

This class will address common problems such as; jumping up, barking, leash pulling and impulse control. We will teach you the skills needed to combat these behaviours early to avoid bad habits being formed at a young age.

** New dogs must be in your home for a minimum of 30 days to attend this class. Current Vaccination records must also be up-to-date.

 

GRADE 1

As you continue enrolling in obedience training, the bond with your dog will become stronger and stronger. Creating a strong bond with your dog is ultimately the ticket to a well-behaved pup. 

In this class, we will continue to work on impulse control, feeling, recall and how to properly approach other dogs and humans. Basic foundation work will be at the cornerstone of this class. But don’t let the word obedience fool you, this class will be fun and challenging for both you and your dog!

** Prerequisite - Puppy School or Preschool graduates (or the equivalent). Must be able to perform basic commands. New dogs must be in your home a minimum of 30 days to attend this class. Current vaccination records must also be up-to-date.

 

 

GRADE 2

One of the biggest challenges a dog owner faces is taking all the skills they’ve learned from obedience training and putting them to use in the real world. With a focus on strengthening the skills they’ve already learned, this class will challenge your dog by adding common distractions to the mix.

** Prerequisite - Grade 1 graduate (or the equivalent). Must know basic commands and be comfortable off leash. New dogs must be in your home a minimum of 30 days to attend this class. Current vaccination records must also be up-to-date.

 

GRADE 3

Our most advanced course offered will challenge you and your pup by pushing you both beyond your boundaries. Your pup will master increasingly more difficult skills such as retrieving and perfecting off leash commands. A high level of proficiency is required to enter this class. Come see what you and your pup are capable of achieving together in our Grade 3 class!

** Prerequisite - Grade 2 graduate (or the equivalent). New dogs must be in your home a minimum of 30 days to attend this class. Current vaccination records must also be up-to-date.
